TuringArte documentation
Everything you need to hire AI Employees, ground them in your knowledge, connect tools, and embed chat on your site — plus the public API reference for the embed SDK.
TuringArte is a self-serve platform for configurable AI Employees — digital workers with prompts, Knolo knowledge packs, modular tools, and channels (website chat, SMS, voice). You bring your own LLM keys (BYOK); multi-tenant organizations isolate every workspace.

Core concepts
- Organization — your workspace (via Clerk). All employees, keys, and knowledge are scoped by
organization_id. - AI Employee — an agent instance created from a preset (system prompt, default tools/channels, optional voice config).
- Knolo pack — a deterministic knowledge pack built from your documents and attached to one or more employees.
- Publishable key — public
pk_live_…credential for the embed widget and public chat APIs (never a secret LLM key). - Provider key (BYOK) — encrypted OpenAI/xAI (or other) API keys used server-side by the agent runtime.
What is GA vs upcoming?
GA today: Customer Support (embed chat), Virtual Receptionist (voice + booking), Sales Outreach (GA-lite sequences). Scaffold presets (nurture, acquisition, ops, research, content) include prompts and create as draft — channels and tools expand in Phase 11+.
